Secondly, it analyzes the passenger intersection delay before and after putting BRT intersection priority into practice, and brings forward the calculation method of the passenger intersection delay after the application of BRT intersection priority. Thirdly, the paper introduces the traditional intersection and the normal bus intersection priority signal design technique, on the basis of that it discusses the BRT intersection priority signal optimization technique. And it introduces several main signal optimization methods under the control of passive priority, initiative priority tactics, such as signal planning on least passenger delays, an earlier dating or extending green light time, dividing phase, inserting priority phase and overleaping un priority phase. Finally the paper suggests benefit evaluation means of intersection signal optimization project on BRT priority.
