The Preliminary Studies On The Station Landscape Of Chongqing Light Rail Transit

The Chongqing NO.2 Light Rail Transit (LRT) is one of the transit lines specified in the Chongqing Railway Communication Plan of "One circle, nine transit lines", and is the earliest transit line being constructed, completed and operated in Chongqing as one of the important projects for the construction of the Chongqing facilities. But because the planning and design and construction have been carried out a little bit earlier, in design and construction of the LRT the assumption is to make it as a traffic vehicle in the first place, with the characteristic of LRT being part of the city landscape and effects on the city ecology and landscape by the construction not being fully taken into consideration. It has been six years from the starting of the LRT construction, and the landscape problem along the line and surrounding part of the stations is being highlighted.With the fast development of the city, the scale of the city and the volume of the transportation becoming larger and larger, the quantity and scale of the city LRT and station are going to increase accordingly. Therefore, it is a very urgent issue to be researched and to find solutions for building the practical and beautiful LRT station landscape and protecting the surrounding ecological environment as well as ensuring the basic functions of the LRT station-reducing the burden of the city traffic and building a vigorous transit station.Based on the theoretical and practical cognizance, and practical investigation and lots of example analogy and analysis, this paper analyzes the characteristic of LRT Station landscape under the influence of Chongqing mountainous city landscape characteristic in the first place, studying the essence of the LRT station landscape in depth, putting forward the practical problems of Chongqing No.2 LRT. This paper also studies the modification principle and measures following the above analysis and puts forward some constructive suggestions and solutions to the construction of the LRT station landscape based on the practical case. This paper follows the logic sequence of Putting forward problem→Analysis→Settling problem→Empirical study in structuring the whole paper.The main points of this paper are studying the relationship between the LRT station and city sight landscape, re-analyzing the architecture image of the LRT station in light of the environment viewpoint, perfecting the internal function of the LRT station to maximizing the comprehensive benefits, studying the availability and recognition of the LRT station. This paper also summarizes the problems of Chongqing No.2 LRT and puts forward some practical principle for the modification and some constructive suggestions for the landscape design of the following Chongqing LRT.
