With the development and advancement of science and technology, the sector of civil works has achieved rapid progress, and architecture structure has been developed towards high(high-rise building, high-rise structure), huge(large span, large space structure), heavy(heavy load structure), special(particular structure and usage).The purpose of high-rise and non-conventional structure anti-seismic analyze is to ensure enough safety of structure under the basic intensity earthquake, and to provide scientific basis and effective method for structural anti-seismic design. Guangzhou Liede Bridge is a self-anchored Suspension bridge with a single tower(high-rise and Non-conventional tower), the bridge span is 167m+219m dissymmetrical span arrangement. This bridge locates in the area withⅧearthquake intensity, therefore, it's important to analyze the earthquake response of this bridge. The Sap2000 and ANSYS have been used in this article to comparatively analyze bridge-tower, and imitated the bridge structural response both under the damping and non-damping circumstance. The major accomplishments are as below:1,To establish the 3D-space truss model of the structure based on SAP2000, and the 3D-space solid model of the bridge tower based on ANSYS, and also analyze the natural vibration characteristic with Lanczos method.2,To comparatively analyze the calculation outcome of the two models, and analyze the precision of the tow models, so we can confirm the effective analyzed method of the high-rise and non-conventional structure.3,Analyzing the earthquake response with the Dynamic time-history method, get response of the structure under the coincident earthquake excitation. analyzed time-history displacement response and time-history internal force under the seismic power choosing EL-Centro and three safety-evaluating earthquake waves.4,In order to guide the design of damping device, the evaluation of damping parameter has been detailed assessed, in which, the evaluation of C andξhas been referred to some finished bridges.
