Crankshaft is one of the main components of diesel engine. It's also the most expensive machine member, which price is approximately one third of the whole machine. The shape is very complex, rigidity is poor. It exist serious stress concentrates, and it can cause fatigue break down easily. The reliability of the whole engine motor depends on the reliability of the crankshaft. So it is very critical to design the crankshaft and check the fatigue of it.This Paper analyzes and calculates fatigue of the total and the single-throw crankshaft through finite element about the diesel engine medium-height speed. Calculate deformation and stress of crankshaft at different starting fire. Meanwhile analyze affection to stress from different structure and size .this take advantage that it is convenient to calculate with single-throw crankshaft and have a little work of calculation. This Paper analyzes and calculates dynamic response of crankshaft of single cylinder with AVL-Excite. Analyze movement, velocity and acceleration on define nodal and describe the work state of crankshaft. Meanwhile analyze variation and transformation of it.At last, it analyzes the total crankshaft in 16V with AVL-Designer. Analyze the state of the stress of main shafting bearing; the state of actual alteration of pressure of the max and the min oil-bound film, and analyze the trace picture of the axle center of main shaft bearing. Meanwhile get the state of the stress and deformation of every crankshaft, analyze the case of the stress of crankshaft under different work condition. At last this dissertation analyzes affection of different size of round angle to the stress of the crankshaft, checks the margin of fatigue resistance and gets the margin of safety.
