Chaotic system is a class of nonlinear system which is extremely sensitive to theinitial conditions, and the chaotic sequences generated by which are nonlinear, aperiodic, and like the noise. Compared to traditional physical noise source it is easier to controland realize, and could be widely applied. That it is a new class of highperformancenoise source model. This paper focuses on the chaotic noise source theory and Chua'scircuit, and designs a new real random number generator using Chua's circuit as thenoise source.Firstly, for the shortcoming of ideal inductance difficult to integrate, a way whichusing the analog inductance to improve Chua's circuit is proposed in this paper, alongwith the simulation is carried out, which shows that the use of analog inductance inplace of the ideal inductance, not only will not affect the Chaos of original Chua'scircuit, but also to improve their integration. Secondly, to reduce the voltage of Chua'scircuit, and its easytochip,a programmer based on timeseriesof calculating thelargest Lyapunov Exponent is designed, which could prove that Chua's circuit can alsoproduce chaos in the 5V voltage. Finally, the real random number generator modelbased on Chua's circuit is implemented, along with the accuracy and feasibility areanalysed by implementation and test, which shows that it can produce highqualityandhighspeedreal random number.
