Study On The Signal Optimized Controls And The Traffic Management Of Offset Intersection

The offset intersection is a special type of intersection. Making full use of the existing resource and realizing the reasonable signal control of the offset intersection could be achieved through comprehensive management in the light of the geographical situation, the traffic environment and the structure of traffic flow. According to analysis of the types of urban plane intersections and its control methods, the article researched the characteristics of offset intersection. Firstly, classified the offset intersection, researched its traffic control modes and signal setting methods, I supposed the traffic control management and optimization method of offset intersection after the analysis on the pedestrians and bicycle transportation. At last, based on total research to the offset intersection of special intersection, I established the comprehensive service system on transit and the evaluation model of offset intersection to to give the traffic researchers a reference.
