The application of glass facade is given a deep impression on the vision and aesthetics in today's world; however, the heat preservation ability in winter and insulation ability in summer of the traditional glass facade is very poor, which increases the energy consumption of heating and air-conditioning. By contrast, Double-Skin Facade (DSF) is not only fine-looking but also possesses great potential for increasing the heating ability. It has good heat preservation ability in winter, and in summer with the reasonably- installed air inlet and outlet and the width of the interlayer its effect of ventilation is also good to reduce the load of air condition. The important research of the paper is the infection with the area of the inlet or out let and the width of the interlayer in DSF in summer of Xi'An.The calculation of the solar radiation is very complex, which is included the dynamic angle of solar height, the dynamic angle of solar orientation and so on. So in this model, the solar radiation which is loaded unsteadily accord with the fact.The paper, with the help of the CFD numerical calculation theory and by using the Fluent software, has conducted a numerical simulation of the heat environment over the room with DSF on the summer working condition in Xi'An. It analyses the influences on the effect of ventilation in the adjacent room, from such important factors that the area of the inlet or outlet and the air interlayer as the outside temperature and the solar radiation intensity which cycling is 24 hours.According to the calculating and analysis, with the same outside temperatures and the solar radiation intensities, the following conclusion is achieved: when the areas of the inlet or outlet are the same, their shapes greatly influence the temperature distribution of DSF; the larger areas of the inlet or outlet, the better effect of ventilation; the width of the interlayer will influence the air-flow. The larger of the interlayer, the better effect of ventilation, but the influence of the indoor is not the same as the obvious temperature of the interlayer.In the researching method, the key point of the paper is to simulate the dynamic heat environment and effect of ventilation in the room of DSF with fluctuating outside temperatures, which loads the solar radiation changing by hours.
