Research On The Application Of Predictive Maintenance Technology In High Speed Wire 210 Rolling Mill

Nowadays the steel industry of China has get great development, and also the competition between each other become more furiously. As a result, all the steel enterprises want to increase outputs and improve quality, so the machines of higher production efficiency and continuous production modes were adopted. The further development of the enterprises has been restricted by excessive accidents and the maintenance cost. It is necessary to establish advanced predictive maintenance system now. According to the actuality of Tang Gang Company, a predictive maintenance system for the high speed wire 210 rolling mill has been built.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The concept of predictive maintenance and developmental actuality were described, the characteristic of flow industry and the structure principle of rolling unit were introduced , the disadvantages of traditional maintenance modes and the advantages of the predictive maintenance mode were discussed.(2)The theory and method of the predictive maintenance was studied, the function system for the predictive maintenance system for 210 rolling unit was established.(3)The equipment managing information and maintenance decision- making support subsystem based PM for 210 rolling unit was studied and developed. The perfect equipment records function and the maintenance decision-making logic and approach were described .(4)the predictive maintenance system of 210 rolling unit has been applied in Tang Gang Company. By analyzing the signals from the online monitor subsystem, the fault type, the fault consequence can be judged and maintenance decision can be done, the maintenance plan and the spare plan can be finished correctly.The system has acquired remarkable effect.
