The name of this research project is"The application of heavy tamping replacement method in the ground treatment of the second main workshop of baoding Fengfan Storage Battery Co.,Ltd,". The research process includes: feasibility study, general progress of construction, approximate calculation, construction design, construction technique, construction organization, construction, and test.The research was used in the engineering project of the second main workshop of baoding Fengfan Storage Battery Co.,Ltd,. With the ground treatment of the heavy tamping replacement method, the test shows that the deep foundation pit with the silt soil layer was strengthen, and the ground bearing capacity, the settlement and the differential settlement was satisfied with the requirements of the structure.The practice shows that the heavy tamping replacement method can solve the problems on the ground bearing capacity and the deformation of the deep foundation pit of silt soil. The economic and social efficiency is remarkable, so it can save the station construction investment.
