Study On Plant Commnity And Optimal Disposition Of Ground Cover In Nanjing Park Green Space

The ornamental ground cover as the one of the kind of the landscape plants, which had many advantages such as a diversification of kinds, a variety of colors,facility in manage, strong ability of covering, reproducing easily, abundant communities arrangement and wonderful views, taking a very important part of the urban landscape design.In 1980s the Nanjing city which is the earliest garden city in china ever advanced a slogan such as "all city cover with green", and the ornamental ground cover play a key role in the greening processes, and the ornamental ground cover used in parks in Nanjing just like the primacy actors. So it is very necessary and useful in studying the actuality, disadvantages and advantages, development direction of the ornamental ground cover used in parks in Nanjing.This paper takes eight samples of park greenland as the objects of investigation and research. First of all, this paper take the phytocoenoecology as the theoretic base, than to analysis the species composition, quantitative characteristic, community characteristic, density, quantity and application of the ornamental ground cover of park Greenland in Nanjing; Secondly, this paper aimed to the problem that the ornamental ground cover used to be disturbed frequently in their growing time, and found the reason such as disturbed form, quantities, density; Thirdly, this paper formulates comprehensive index system of the used of the ornamental ground cover of park Greenland in Nanjing, then it gives comprehensive evaluation indexes of the views of the ground cover. At last, this paper summarized the using models, disadvantages, optimization design and recommended the feasible items of the ornamental ground cover in Nanjing park Greenland. The main conclusions of this paper were as follows:(1) The ornamental ground cover are not take full advantage of using in Nanjing park Greenland, and the evergreen occupy a large space, and the native identity is not obvious. Parterre is be used very widely, and the representative plant is fewer; the most ornamental features are the colorful, beautiful flower and fruits, and the green leafages just serve as a foil to the color.(2) The ornamental ground cover used to be disturbed frequently in Nanjing park Greenland. The disturbed forms are "unilateral model", "T form model", "unilateral chain model" and "shortcut model"; And the disturbed quantities are as follows: walking way> secondary road>main street; the disturbed intensities are as follows: the nearest distance> secondary distance> far distance.(3) From four aspects of ecology, landscape, economy, this paper formulates comprehensive index system and sets up the mode of ground cover in Nanjing parks green space.The results showed that, the comprehensive quality of ground cover in Nanjing parks green space is well, most of the parks are in the grade I and II.(4) The ornamental ground cover configured model in Nanjing park greenland represented as "point", "line", "area" three kind of applications, and in the actual using there are many problems such as absence of new kind of excellent and wild ornamental ground cover, lack of eco-benefits, the native identity is not obvious, the configured models are not fit, and the disturbed to the is obviously, the design without of the humanized and less administer. Therefore, this paper summarized the useful and feasible models for the optimization landscape design ways and recommended the feasible using items of the ornamental ground cover for the landscape design in Nanjing city.
