The Application Of Gymnosperm In Urban Park Green Space In Nanjing

Nanjing is a famous historical and cultural city of China, and is also the modern political, economic, cultural centers of Jiangsu Province. With the urbanization speeding up, the urban environment has aroused widespread attention, and the constructin of urban park green space has been more and more concerned. Nanjing regards the ecological garden city as an aim. The plants of characters play a critical role to improve the taste of the city, and gymnosperm is principal among all the plants. Therefore it is valuable to study the application of gymnosperm in urban park green space in Nanjing, analyse its advantages and disadvantages, and explore and discuss the orientation of development.This article chooses 17 subjects from three types of urban green space which are park green space, enterprise and institution green space, and scenic spot green space. Firstly, based on vegetation ecology theory, analyse the species of community, the quantities of species and the ecological structure of community;Secondly, analyse the disposal features of different kinds of space;Thirdly, according to establish a reasonable appraisal system, use analytical hierarchy process to make a comprehensive appraisal of all the subjects. The main results are as follows:(1) In the aspect of community characteristic.there are 48 types of gymnosperms which belong to 8 families and 25 species. The arbor gymnosperms have 7 families,24 generas and 42 species, and the shrub gymnosperms have 3 families,5 generas and 11 species. There are a total of 12 native gymnosperms and 405 ancient and famous gymnosperms;(2) In the aspect of disposal mode, gymnosperms in different space have different disposal modes, and have produced different effects. This article analizes 5 kinds of gymnosperm space and summarize their own features, these 5 spaces are road space, architecture space, water space, principal space and tree array space;(3) In the aspect of landscape appraisal, the ecology index weight holds the first position, and next are landscape quality index weight, social service index weight and humane value index weight. The comprehensive quality of gymnosperm communities of urban park green space in Nanjing is overall in good condition, nearly half of which has achieved Gradeâ… , and nearly the other half of which is in Gradeâ…¡, only a few space's quality is in Grade III, which remains to be improved.In the end. this article summarizes the features of the gymnosperm landscape in urban park green space in Nanjing, and proposes the optimizing suggestions. Hoping that gymnosperm can play a more significant role in Nanjing and even in the area of Yangtze River delta, this article provides reference and theoretical basis for the disposal, design, administration and application of gymnosperm.
