With the environment pollution arising worse and worse and energy source shortage,the new source automotive has been given more and more attention all over the world. The Electric Vehicle(EV)is more attention by the people because the characteristic of without pollution and low source used. So take more research of EV key components is very important for the industrialization of EV.For the fuel vehicle and the EV,air-conditioning system is essential for the comfortable of the automotive. The battery is the only energy source of EV,because the capacity of battery is finite,so the EV is restricted by the driving distance. After add the high consume component——air conditioning,the driving distance is more reduced. So the driving distance is the most obstruction of EV and the air conditioning system. To resolve these problems,it must used the Electric air conditioning(E-a/c). Now the research of E-a/c is not enough,because it is only research the performance of E-a/c,about the simulation of E-a/c is not comprehensive.In the simulation of ADVISOR,the usual method is use a constant value of air conditioning to calculate the vehicle performance. The E-a/c is used the electric compressor to auto adjust the cabin temperature,because the change of the environment and the cabin temperature,different temperature needs different power of air conditioning,so the only value must infect the accuracy of vehicle performance simulation. So research the E-a/c and development the module of it can supply the ADVISOR to improve the accuracy ,for the parameters match and design also have important value.This paper is based on the momentous item——"Research and Development of FAW-EV Bus,which is developed by the Jilin Province Science and Technology office. Because now the research of the E-a/c simulation module is not enough , use a air-conditioning system of the vehicle ,research the parameter match of the EV bus and discussion the E-a/c development of module in ADVISOR,then though the simulation analysis research the relationship of the E-a/c and the vehicle in different driving schedule and outside temperature.The major contents as follow:.(1)the investigate of air conditioning system,especially the electric air conditioning system. Firstly,research the compressor and refrigerant of the air conditioning,concluding the air conditioning that use the CO2 as the refrigerant. Secondly investigate the air conditioning used for EV,analysis the advantage of many air conditioning used for EV. Finally,choose the best air conditioning of the EV——electric air conditioning.(2)Research the driving methods of electric compressor and the key components of electric air conditioning,discussion the rules of choose the electric air conditioning after make sure the driving method. Electric compressor is the most important component of electric air conditioning,the performance of compressor have big relative with the air conditioning consume,noise and reliability. Make sure the electric air conditioning should choose the method of use the battery to supply the electric compressor. The only different of E a/c and traditional vehicle air conditioning is the drive method,because the E a/c is driving by motor,we can though the accuracy control and the high effective of usual load to decrease the consume of air conditioning,then can increase the economy of vehicle. The components of electric compressor should have good ability of save power because the EV power is very limited and drive distance is short. At last choose the scroll compressor for the electric compressor,and choose the permanent magnet brushless DC motor as the motor.(3)Set up the module of E a/c system used in ADVISOR. Set up the cabin thermal load module and the E a/c module through the real vehicle data. After compare the cabin thermal load module and the E a/c module,control the flux of refrigerant to satisfy the cabin temperature need of next time. Use the way of calculate the wastage,it is a material way of match the E a/c. In the map of electric compressor,can see the high effective zone of E a/c,establish foundation for use the fuzzy control in next chapter. (4)consider the character of E a/c,adopt the fuzzy control strategy that is the most adapt to the EV,through the SIMULINK set up the control strategy module. Now the air conditioning usually use the traditional control,when the cabin temperature increase open the air conditioning and the cabin temperature decrease off the air conditioning. This method will effect the comfortable of passenger and the compressor is brittle. But fuzzy control is not rely on the accuracy math module of controlled object. It can used in delay and non-linear system. It can simulate the comfort of environment,have strong applicability of the change of parameters,have good control effect and robustness. For the air conditioning of EV,it can save the power though fuzzy control strategy. This paper use the cabin thermal balance and though the fuzzy control strategy set up the module of air conditioning system,feedback the cabin temperature,use the difference in temperature and change of difference in temperature as the input,control the electric compressor speed and toque,then change the flux of refrigerant to decrease the temperature. Make sure the control strategy and set up the module,link with the electric air conditioning system,realize the fuzzy control of E a/c.(5)In the last set up the full vehicle module in ADVISOR,loading the electric air conditioning system in the full vehicle,simulation and analysis the result,analysis the EV in different driving schedule,the effect of air conditioning system for the full vehicle economy performance and driving distance. The results indicates that with the use of E-A/C, vehicle economy performance and driving range cut down obviously on city driving schedule conditions. On constant speed condition, the two capabilities also definite cut down,but compared with the traditional air conditioning,the E a/c have obvious save power ability.
