The bored pile is a chief type of pile foundations used in high building and bridge. However, there exist some defects in traditional construction ways of bored pile, such as sedimentation on the bottom of piles and mud around the shaft, which will reduce the resistance forces at the end of the pile and around the shaft. So the technology of post-grouting at the end of the pile is suggested as a solution to all these problems. It could not only improve the situation of layers at the end of piles, but also increase the base area and base resistance pressure of pile. As a result, the study on construction technique and working mechanism of bored piles with base post-grouting has great significance both in theory and in practice.In this thesis, based on a wide review of relevant research home and abroad, the working mechanism of the post-grouting technology and the main factors affecting the pile bearing capacity are studied, and the design and methodology involved with the the post-grouting technology are summarized.At the same time, the construction technology of the post-grouting at the end of pile, the common measures to deal with accidents, and the method of engineering testing are introduced and presented in detail.Finally, according to the geological condition and the case history with the post-grouting technology in Taizhou, the practical merit of the post-grouting technology are investigated. It has been shown that using the technology ont only can significantly increase the bearing capacity of the bored pile and reduce the settlement of the foundation, but also can achieve good economical benefit. Therefore, the technology of post-grouting at the end of bored pile is really an advanced construction technique and deserved to be widely used in the engineering construction in Taizhou.
