This subject comes from an updating old production line project of an aluminum foil manufacturer. After acquiring the knowledge of the whole production process, this thesis focuses on one part of the process, analyzing the technical needs and the requirements from the customers and proposes a method of realizing the multi-motors'synchronization. Designing and developing an alμminμm foil monitoring and controlling system, and for the requirement of the dividing the motors into two categories: inside and outside, and bring in two advanced control principle: fuzzy control and neural network to gain a better control. This thesis describes the whole process of designing and realizing this monitoring and control system, in the end make a simulation about this system.First, this thesis introduces the general product condition home and abroad, the difficulties and requirement of customer. Focusing on these problems, this thesis proposes a whole system design and network.Secondly, it analyzes the whole network. According to the layers, discusses field bus (Profibus-DP), USS and PPI separately about their format and principle, which make up the whole multi-motors control system.Thirdly, discuss every level of this system. Down level: motors control, divides all the motors into two groups, AC and DC motors, and uses different methods to keep their synchronization. Middle level: Research on PLC programmer and the possibility of bringing the advanced control principle into PLC. Up level: Mainly focus on the work of HMI and how to bring in the advanced principle.Lastly, put all these pieces together and setup the whole control system, using Matlab/Simulink to make a simulation to prove the effect of this design.
