The Design Of Architectural Surface Corresponding To The City Environment

From the end of the 20^th century, the architectural surface is becoming an important angle by which the architects paid more attention to the architecture itself in the contemporary professional field. It has been liberated from an accessorial role as which it served the space and the function. It , which involved in the society communications as a contemporary architectural concept, has taken profound influence to our daily life. The regard is not base on visual form unsophisticatedly, however, is a part of the city strategies. Especially under the background of the environmental era, the surroundings are playing crucial roles in the creation of the surface, moreover, they provide the architectures with the particularity, that will strengthen the connection between the architectures and the environment in certain fields.Firstly, the author made the historical analysis on the architectural surface and the its relative attitude with the environment, then we got the contemporary definitions and the relations between them. Secondly, we will discuss about the unitary manipulating strategies and the material manipulating mode base on abundant case studies. Lastly, we will make a future outlook on the topic.
