Needle-free injection system is a bran-new drug delivery method. Its development combines many subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mechanics, computer science, etc. By utilizing this new technology, drug delivery of dermal, intradermal can be realized without using traditional needles. The ampoule sealing of needle-free injection is an important part of injection products. With the development of computer science, high efficient simulations can be realized by using analysis software for its design.In this paper, the design theory, method and technique from design methodology are applied to the design of needle-free injection products. This has a great significance to shorten the development circle. In the paper there are also a design for ampoule sealing based on theories of fluid sealing and analysis of performances of this sealing. In addition, the experiment of the needle-free injection system in the paper will concentrate on its injection effects.The main research contents are as following:1 The background and the meaning of the subject of this paper are expatiated. The current status and the development of the needle-free injection technology both abroad and at home are introduced. The main research content is brought forward.2 The requirement table of design on which the concept design is accomplished based is established. The principle scheme is fixed on at last. The technique design is finished and construct design is explained as well.3 The theoretic concerned of fluid sealing is discussed and the sealing type of ampoule is analyzed. The design and calculation of ampoule sealing are carried out based on the guide line. The principle of self-tight sealing and the requirement of nonoccurrence -leakage are reasoned.4 Because of the characteristics of material non-linear and geometry non-linear of the O-ring sealing, FEA is used for its static and dynamic analysis. The software of FEA—ANSYS can calculate the parameters such as contact pressure and displacement accurately.5 The leakage quantity of ampoule sealing is conducted based on the fluid dynamic mechanics. The leakage function is educed after getting the pressure grads by FEA. The safety and the reliability of the sealing can be judged afterward.6 The eject process experiment of needle-free injection is introduced briefly. The injection process experiment is put up and the relation between the pressure on ampoule and the injection effects is finally gained.
