3D-gridding Shape Design And Simulation Syestem Of Ship Model In UG

Ship model is important for forecasting the sailing abilities of ship and additionally scientific research and teaching of ship.It asks for higher demands for the shape design of ship model with the development of ship design and manufucture technology,so we should use Numberical Control(NC) equipment to make it because of modern demands for model ship design and manufucture.The drawing of ship model in AutoCAD is composed of level section line,portrait section line and horizontal section line.we have to gain the data information of this kind of drawing which is formed by the cross points of these section lines,and these points'information are not enough in the NC process.The old 3D-shape design of ship model is totally manual.The specific way is picking up the cross points manually and writing down their coordinate values,then inputing the values in other 3D-shape design softwares to create the 3D-shape of ship model.In this manual method,it takes a long time to finish it ,bacause there are several hundreds or even thousands of cross points;menwhile,it's not high nicety and precision if we don't increase the cross points'numbers.In this dissertation,we will build the 3D-shap of ship model automatically to overcome the disadvantages which is heavy workload,long periods,low nicety and precision.Generally speaking,we will achieve the 3D-gridding shape building firstly,then use it to complete the 3D-shape design of ship model.In this dissertation,the author uses the advanced 3D-shape software named Unigraphics(UG)and goes very deep about 3d-shape design of ship model.The main context is below:First,research UG and its secondary software named UG/Open Grip,especially the method which changes the 2D drawing in AutoCAD to 3D-gridding shape in UG automatically;Secondly,as the most important point of the dissertation,the author solves the key technology about 3D shape design of ship model in UG and makes the automatic process come ture by making programs with UG/Open Grip language ;Thirdly,accomplish the 3D shape design of ship model in UG,that is,create the 3D shape of ship model automatically with 3D-gridding shape of ship model in UG;At last,introduce the practical meaning of ship model design and do some research,make the simulation on the basis of 3D shape of ship model and prove that the method in this dissertation is correct and suitable.
