With the rapid increasing of domestic and overseas aerial cableway, the monocline circulating detachable grip passenger cableway has become the main stream of cableway. For the low invests of the construction, it is affected slightly to the environment, and widely applied in various fields. Grip is the core part of the aerial cableway. It is not enough for only consulting present grip structure to solve the present demand for the grip, as people have put forward higher requirement for the stability of grip.This thesis has a deeper discussion on the design of the detachable grip structure. A new kind of the monocline circulating detachable grip with symmetric two-step orthogonal toggle force amplifier has been designed. The major work that has been completed for this study as follows:According to the technical parameters and related design requests of the detachable grip in the cableway. The morphology matrix of the detachable grip functions was established. It selected some feasible structure scheme, and makes comprehensive estimations for these schemes. It was suggested that the operation principles of the scheme with symmetric two-step orthogonal toggle force amplifier and the helical spring horizontal installation, the core part of the grip. Through the angle effect of toggle force amplifier, the enlargement of force requested by grip would be achieved. Its working principle was analyzed and its mathematical model is built up, then the performance parameter would be nonlinear optimized. The envelop angle was calculated with the jaw theory, where the grip performance was characterized with an envelop coefficient.It has set up the3-digital model of grip by SolidEdge software. Its model would be assembled and its assembly accuracy checked. It provided a dimension of structure and assembly data for grip design. The kinematics of the grip were analyzed to obtain the motion state of each part and detect the possible spatial interference or the excessive motion to guarantee the realization of kinematics performance of the grip. Furthermore, this study has picked up the modal parameters of the detachable grip, promoted its structural arrangement and sizes, improved the low order natural frequency of the resonance and reduced wear and tear of the detachable grip because of resonance occurring.Through using ANSYS finite element method, this study analyzed the statics intensity of the finite element for the important components of the detachable grip, such as fixed outside holding block, activity inside holding block and toggle force amplifier, checked the intension status of this work, improved the dangerous section of of stress concentration, and guaranteed the reliability and safety of the structure of grip by some methods like thickening or increasing the transition angle to reduce stress concentration.
