The seawater hydraulic drive technology is a very important research area in modern fluid power field with vast prospective application, which has become more and more attractive owing to the great advantages including environmentally friendly, nonflammable, inexpensive. Because of contamination and special characters in physics and chemistry of seawater, at the condition with heavy load, the key pair of seawater pump come to contamination wear .The contamination sensitivity of cylinder bore and piston is chosen as the research object in this dissertation. Basing on the previous research productions, aiming at the main invalidations, structure design, material choice and filter design are developed to solve the contamination wear of cylinder bore and piston.Achievements in the research are as follows: the kinematics and dynamics of the bar piston are analyzed, the maximal contact stress formula on the cylinder bore and piston is presented from tiny strain angle, which proves that E is the key factor to the contact stress. The contamination sensitivity and its influence factor are analyzed, and the invalidations of cylinder bore and piston pair are elicited. Choosing the coordinate length fixed structure, calculating the leakage precisely, the tolerance clearance is fixed on by simulation analysis. The finite element analysis on the piston is accomplished by using ANSYS. It is concluded that the piston's intensity satisfies the design requirements, the biggest stress appears at the connected part between the piston body and the piston ball, and the stress distribution is decided by the load, but has nothing to do with the material. The contamination control is discussed from the choice of the filter, the machining and the assemblage, and the using process. Reach rational balance between contaminate accepting degree of cylinder bore and piston pair and seawater medium, effectively lessening contamination wear of cylinder bore and piston pair, the high-handed seawater pump study and application establish the certain technology basis.
