| Offshore platforms bear extreme environmental loads include wind, wave and current. The spud tanks provide the counterforce of the platform's gravity and slippage, meanwhile, the spud also bears the moment delivered by the leg which is apt to be simplified. In this paper, the structural safety of spud tanks and legs of the jack-up platform under the storm environment are studied in consideration of the pile-soil interaction using the ANSYS FEA software. The dynamic characteristic of the jack-up platform is researched in detail. And some conclusion may worthy for the engineering practice is given. The major contents are summarized as follows:(1) The environment loads such as the wind and wave load on the jack-up platform are analyzed, and the loads of a platform are carried out as an example.(2) The model of the pile-soil interaction of the spud tank is researched, and the method of the base carrying capacity is given.(3) The spud tank's FEA model is established in detail, so that the following analysis will be carried out expediently.(4) The Winkler beam model is used to simulate the pile-soil interaction. Non-linear spring model is used to simulate the soil force according to the foundation information of the given sea area with the comparison of the end fixed restraint. The results show that the end fixed restraint is. conservative. It is necessary to establish a more sophisticated model. Although the Winkler beam model has some disadvantages, it can give expression to the nonlinear diversification of the soil. |
