The Method Study Of Waterside City's Waterfront Construction Landscape Design

Chinese nation has always been fond of water, which the water is a significant part of China's ancient culture. In the China's traditional poetry and paintings, landscapes formed of the spirit of Chinese-style is made up of elements. In the environment of Chinese modern landscape, water once again shows its significance. The landscape design of waterside is not only the design of the water body, but the design of complex waterfront space. As a waterfront city, it should promote a high degree of integration of the city and the waterfront construction landscape. In order to protect the security of land and the sustainability of urban development, waterfront construction would play an important role in the city and landscape plan.The thesis, through a simple, ecological, economic and spirit concept, with three factors of painting—line,color and space,explores means of expression and methods of human waterfront construction space and makes effort to create high-quality physical and mental training places. Furthermore, supplemented with cases, the thesis would provide a specific reference to landscape design in waterfront construction. In this thesis, waterfront construction becomes the protagonist of the waterfront landscape space, and various activities around the water and the water space echoed with each other. The landscape design would be more humanistic, which reflect a special elegance and inspiration.The thesis is devided into five parts:The first part, puts forward the research background, including the development of the situation at home and abroad, the purpose and the significance of the issue and various ways of completion. All in all, it focuses on the conscious pursuit and reasonable cognition to the landscape design of waterfront construction.The second part, based on waterfront construction's concept, classification and characteristics, adding to driving force for development in areas, proposes landscape design's instructional ideas, design standards and guiding priciples.The third part, from the perspective of painting, summarizes the design method of waterfront construction's landscape. Then from the human point of view, four perspectives are chosen: waterfront construction's regional culture, flood control landscape, ecological and hydrophilic. All these issues make abstract theorise into tangible landscape space.The forth part, combined with related cases at home and abroad, makes an assay and a conclusion that the theory would be used for the test of practice.The last part, conclusion. This part summarizes research results and make recommendation for further research.
