With the development of economy and the improvement of people's living level, the contradiction between the demand of daily health examination and the lack of legal medical treatment organizations is much more serious. People are no longer satisfied with resorting to hospital no matter of disease condition, but hope more and more portable medical equipments which are used for daily nursing and remote monitoring appear in market. Urine Analyzer with the advantage of non-traumatic and non-intrusive has broad prospects. According to the demanding with home health instruments in terms of miniaturization, fast testing and easy using, various traditional urine analyzers are analysed and Miniature Rapid Urine Analyzer base on Embedded Ethernet are proposed.This paper introduces the basic principle of dry- chemistry method of urine test, the structure and function of the system. Dual wavelength method is introduced, according to collecting the data about reflection intensity of specific wavelength, the content of the correlative components in urine can be obtained, thus people's health status is achieved. Now, most urine analyzers adopt stepping motor to turn test strip to implement test term by term, but they have slow test speed and can not eliminate errors and handle the problem of stability resulting from mechanical transmission. Aiming at these problems, use multichannel large-core optical fiber instead of mechanical scanning, design one kind of structure of photoelectric measurement module, the measurement can be completed at one time by scanning all item of one single test strip. Take low function lost and high light degree LED cold light source and filer or filter wheel are not needed in single wavelength method which make the structure of instrument simple and reliable.The project adopts ARM7 andμC/OS—II embedded system and constructs hardware platform centers upon LPC2148. LED light source circuit with point calibration is designed and in which LED are time-sharing lighted by the control of LPC2148. Using linear CCD sensors to collect reflection light data which is drove by CPLD. LCD touch-screen module is taken to display and control which make the instrument have a friendly man-machine interface and can meet the demand of family users. USB communication interface is designed which can be connected to PC, and data can be processed, saved, printed by upper computer software. Ethernet interface can also be used to connected to internet in order to construct remote health monitoring network.Makes prototype of the design, and makes tests and estimations of the errors of the prototype. The experimental results show that the new design is feasible and the measurement speed and the precision are improved, and the design has great practical value.
