This article elaborated the original drivetrain system design of IVECO hybrid electric city light commercial vehicle NJ6492ATQ of Nanjing Automobile Group Corporation.I have finished the match design, mathematics modeling, and simulation analysis. And I have found and solved some of the problems.Firstly, double-clutch monaxial parallel hybrid drivetrain is selected as the drive system of the hybrid electric city light commercial vehicle according to its characteristics and use requirement.The structure of the drive system is conceptive designed based on the recent level of the hybrid electric vehicle in the world. The parameters of the key components are computed and optimally matched by the analysis of the system and their special characteristics.Secondly, the methodology and modeling issues of the drivetrain components were described by making reference to the model presented in some paper. Based on MATLAB/Simulink modeling environment, the double-clutch hybrid electric vehicle of IVECO are modeled. These ensure the utility and reliability of the model. The models can be operated with pedal signals as inputs and also with driving cycle. During the simulation, the models of double-clutch and control strategy are very difficult, so their solutions were given great emphasis.This article carried on the simulation analysis to the prototype. The simulation results of the tractive performance and fuel economy of the prototype indicates the feasibility of the control strategy.Because we can't get the data of engine emission, we can't do the simulation of emission.
