Electronic Chart Display And Navigation System Based On S-57 International Standard

By the research and analysis of original "IHO TRANSFER STANDARD for DIGITAL HYDROGRAPHIC DATA"(S-57) and the corresponding materials, the theory model of S-57, data model of S-57 and data enclosure standard have been understand. On the basis of these, the thesis realizes the decoding of S-57 and founds the corresponding data structure. Study the arithmetic of Mercator mapping transform . Study some content of "IHO SPECIFICATIONS FOR CHART CONTENT AND DISPLAY ASPECTS OF ECDIS" (S-52) .Based on these and the technique of graphic and image process, such as buffer display and area filling, the thesis realizes the display, zooming and navigation functions of single chart file based on S-57.
