With the rapid development of the global power technology, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) electricity transmission technology appears and popularizes fast. The converter valve control technology in HVDC electricity transmission becomes one of its key technologies. The main work of this paper is to design and make the hardware circuit of the HVDC electricity transmission valve control system based on Infineon 16-bit MCU. On the basis of study Infineon microprocessor structure and C167CR's memory organization, interrupts, parallel IO interface, CAN controller, this paper realizes the hardware circuit of valve control system by using chip hardware resources and related devices.We analyze and research the functional requirements and targets of the HVDC electricity transmission valve control system, discuss how to divide the entire system into function modules in this paper. The working principle of the main chip used to logical control and serial port expansion chip 16C450 has also been discussed. After the circuit design of every function module is finished and the PCB is made, the software and hardware debugging is carried out on each function module, then the entire system is jointly debugged. Finally the hardware circuit has met the overall requirements of the system.
