The Aesthetics Characteristics Of Urban-oriented Design

With the rapid development of science and economics, urban environment is evolving to a complex and high-density urban space. And urban space order is also becoming more and more complex. The establishment of urban-oriented design can guide and standardizing people's behavior rapidly, in order to form an orderly city and help raise its convenience and comfort. In addition, urban-oriented design also represents the degree of civilization of a city, the openness of society, the city's history, the humanities, as well as overall impression. Therefore, urban-oriented design plays an important position in city public environment.This thesis across the visual communication design and environmental art summed up the definition of urban-oriented design. According to the way of linking theory with practice, this paper used the developed countries'for examples and analyses China's status quo, in order to expatiate its role in city public environment, the aesthetic characteristic and its development of the aesthetic trends in China. Hope this paper can solve some practical problems that resulted by no enough attention of urban-oriented design theory, and bring a new chapter for the development of city environment.
