| The magnitude structural irregularity of switch proper and frog and the existence of conical wheel tread and worn-profiled tread inevitably result to hunting when the wheelset goes through the turnout. The study of hunting is one of the most important components of wheel-rail system dynamics. The thesis aims to studying the most basic and the simplest hunting of the single wheelset, which has certain referential significance for more complex vehicles bogie, even the entire vehicle. The main theses of the study are as follows:Based on the theory of wheel-rail rolling contact, the thesis builds a simulation model of the single wheelset and 18# turnout in passenger dedicated line by taking advantage of ADAMS/Rail. The influence of the horizontal and vertical irregularity being associated with the characteristics of the turnout are taken into account, and the simulation model calculated different hunting when the single wheelset goes through the turnout vertically and laterally for a variety of speeds.In the whole running process of wheelset, the hunting of wheelset has always been affected by the structural irregularity of turnout, and the wavelength of hunting has been influenced by the structure of the turnout. In the length of the structure of the turnout and through strengthening the peak value of turnout swaying, the irregularity effect of switch proper and frog will exacerbate the hunting of the wheelset. It has obvious hunting when the wheelset goes through the turnout vertically and laterally. With the improvement of the speed through turnout, the phenomenon of climb rail and hunting all will exacerbate. The irregularity of turnout has bigger impact on the wheelset which runs over the turnout. In addition to vertical and reverse running, the hunting of frog has significant impact on the wheelset. When the wheelset runs over the turnout, the average wavelength of hunting is shorter and the hunting is more intense. It sets guard rails on the side of the turnout, therefore, the guard rails restrict the swaying of the wheelset and reduce the impact on the point rail. However, under the situation of high speed and under the influence of the guard rails, the wheelset sways to the curved stock rail substantially, which will exacerbate the hunting of the wheelset.According to the actual size of turnout design drawings, the thesis builds a complete turnout three-dimensional entity model by using Pro/ENGINEER, and introduces some skills and methods in the process of turnout modeling. On the basis of the three-dimensional entity model, the thesis produces the three-dimensional animation of hunting through using the software of Deep Exploration. |
