| It is an important part of railway detection to detect the wheel's tread scrape signal. The scrape signal on the wheel's tread is caused by urgency brake when the train is running. It influences the train's running safety greatly. So it is of practical importance to detect the scrape timely and effectively.An auto detection system of the scrape signal on the wheel's tread was designed and implemented on the background in this paper. After vast researches of the existing scrape detection system home and abroad and analyzed its merits and drawbacks, it selected the oscillating detection principle to design this system in this paper. The oscillating detection principle is based on the bigger oscillateing signal of the scrape signal when the train is running on the rail.It is composed of several important parts in this system, including oscillating acceleration sensors, photoelectric switches, electric charge amplifier, collecting and processing broad, upper monitor and so on. Oscillating acceleration sensors can catch the oscillate signal when the train is running. Photoelectric switches catch beginning and closing signal. Electric charge amplifier transforms the charge signal to voltage signal. Collecting and processing broad is the core of the system, and it can implement a lot of functions, including collection control, AD control, data storage, data transmission, data processing and communication with periphery and so on. Upper monitor mainly displays the detecting results.After confirming the scheme of this detection system, it has designed the hardware platform of the system as an important part in the paper. The hardware platform includes two boards. One is collection expand board and the other is control and processing core board. The main function of the collection expand board is to complete the input of multiple analog signals and I/O signals, front signal amendment, A/D transform and communication interface and so on. Control and process core board is composed by XILINX Spartan3 xc3s1000 FPGA and TMS320C6713 DSP. As the control core of the system, FPGA finishes the AD control, switch control, data storage, data transmission and communication. So it is partitioned to six sub-modules based on the top-down design method, which are clock module, switch control module, five channels asynchronous FIFO module, bus interface module and UART communication module. As the processing core of the system, DSP accomplishes the data processing and transmits the result to upper monitor.After finished the hardware and software design of the system, system debug and experiments were done. The results of the experiments indicate that the system can accomplish the auto detection of the scrape signal on the wheel's tread, and reach the anticipated purpose. |
