This paper discusses the importance of monitoring the basic physiological parameters of healthy people, and reviews the development and tendency of wireless monitoring system for physiological parameters in the mainland and west countries. Before the overall design is determined, the relevant concepts, the function and the application range of the wireless monitor system to be discussed, the feasibility of design solution is explained, and the whole schema base on star wireless sensor network is designed, the detection of the human temperature is implemented in the wireless way.The above system includes: the sample nodes and the sink. Each sample node consists of the temperature sensor DS18B20, the MCU AT89LV51, and the wireless transceiver modules PTR8000, and is used to sample temperature, and to transmit the data to the sink. The sink consists of the local machine (PC) and the slave unit including the MCU AT89LV51 and the PTR8000, its functions are the management of sample nodes, data storage and transmission. The communication protocols and software design is the key content of this project. This paper gives the following three protocols:â‘ The wireless communication protocol between the sample and the sink;â‘¡The serial communication procotol between the sink and remote PC;â‘¢The serial communication procotol between the local machine and the slave unit of the sink. In the design of software systems, for different hardware platforms, the monitoring programs for the sample node and the slave unit of sink are designed, and the application program for the local machine of the sink is also designed. The sample, storge and transmission of temperature data can be achieved.
