Research On Power Distribution Management System Based On GIS

Information is the inevitable choice to realize industrialization and modernization for our country. With the innovation trend of electric power system all over the world and thorough reform of electric power system in home, electric power enterprises are going into market economy. It has become the hot spot that people discusses that how to make use of modern science and technology to improve benefit and competition power of enterprises, satisfying the demand of society to electric power enterprises, perfect the customer service means of electric power enterprises. However, traditional information processing technology can not adapt to more and more complicated needs to serve to electrified wire netting operation, upkeep , administration and marketplace with the customer for electric power enterprises. Therefore, using Geographical Information System(GIS) technology solve the problem that electric power enterprises information systems face is the emphasis what electric power enterprises regard.This research is mainly focus on followings: realizing viewable inquiry about distributing line, business area, consumers etc. by introducing GIS to electric power enterprises; accomplishing equipment control, secant adjusting, simulating power cut, load analysis, load forecast, electric net layout; how to realizing business and switch data etc. transfer freely in power distribution geographic information system (PDGIS) by combining GIS with Management Information System (MIS).The results are as followings: it has a affinity between various information of electric power net and space geography environment and it is very important to improve the efficiency, benefit, management and decision-making of electric system.
