Study And Development On The Traffic Sign Simulation Experiment System Based On Real Scene

The traffic sign transmits the road information, expresses traffic control instruction, induces and clues on drives in the transportation system and is also the one of the effective initiative safeguards in the traffic safety。The reasonable design and setting on traffic sign may remarkably enhance the validity and security of road, but it is short of effective method to improve the setting validity of traffic sign at present。This paper provides the study and development on the traffic sign experiment simulation system based on real scene.it according to the principle of the realtity technology ,and using the DirectX of Microsoft ,in the environment of Visual C++ 6.0,the methods of using the good property of DirectX to present and generate view scene of simulator.The results showed that the traffic sign experiment simulation system can satisfactorily simulate the scene out of car. Then the system has realized the interaction between the driver and the scene to to research the validity of traffic sign by driversthe traffic sign experiment simulation system consists of modules:scene simulation subsystem,scene play subsystem,acceleration,deceleration and brake subsystem,turning subsystem,and interaction subsystem .On the basic of these subsystem,.this system realize the iinteraction between the driver and the scene;Then through simulation experiment of appending virtual traffic sign to the two groups mountain road scenes which are tunnel and downgrade roads,it preliminarily confirmed this method Based on real Scene to study and development on the traffic sign experiment simulation system is feasible by questionnaire.
