Lead rubber bearings (LRB) is the ordinary rubber bearing accession to the Appropriate amount of lead, It is one of isolation devices, this paper introduces the structure, working principle and mechanical behavior of lead rubber bearing, focus on determining the ceiling rate lead of Bearing by the Seismic capacity of the bridge. Based on the finite element model, calculating Large number of real bridges using non-linear time analysis method, verifing the feasibility of this approach and comparing the effects of isolation of the bearing with different rates lead Systematically, Finally giving the optimal allocation of lead of bearing of Some bridges in tabular form.It is hoped that the study on optimal design method of highway bridge lead rubber bearing and the Research results of this paper hane a certain value in actual design, production,applications of the lead rubber bearing.
