The special article safe-guarding and anti-counterfeiting system is targeted at conducting real-time examination on article, giving authentication and checking identification of its user as well as recording operation that carries on the articles. Single RFID technology could not guarantee the uniqueness of user identification and single FIS(Finger Identification System) could not distinguish between articles likewise.A safe-guarding and anti-counterfeiting system based on RFID and FRT(fingerprint recognition technology) is proposed and implemented in this paper. The entire system is divided into five layers: the human-computer interaction layer, the device management level, the intermediate layer, the link control layer and the physical layer. Various layers are used to achieve respective functions. In accordance with the whole system framework, we refine the system in terms of software and hardware. In hardware aspect, the system designed and implemented MCU node controller, provided information and control flow between MCU and other hardware equipments. In software aspect, we stipulated communication protocol between RS232 and RS485.Further more we designed and established the system-required database as well as implemented APIs and function interfaces of modules.Key technologies in safe-guarding and anti-counterfeiting system is studied in this paper. To system's security, we analyzed the user's identity authentication methods and the articles' security strategy; To system's timeliness, we proposed the solution of hardware and software middleware; To system's stability, through the analysis of RS485 link interference from system and other factors influencing data transportation, we proposed a specific data packets verification method, a ring buffer queue to buffer data avoiding losing data, and also other strategies preventing bus congestion.Combined with two popular automatic identification technologies, safe-guarding and anti-counterfeiting system which is based on RFID and fingerprint recognition technology complemented each other's advantages. The system possesses extremely high security, conveniences and extendibility, which outweighed all other traditional safe-guarding and anti-counterfeiting systems and current systems which are still using single recognition technology.
