The High-Speed Painting Automobile System (HSPAS) is concerned, which serves as one of the key components in automatic electrostatic painting lines used widely in the automobile industry. From the theory, design and manufacture, HSPAS is studied deeply, especially manufacture of the components considered to meet the need of the High-Speed, bearing stiffness and dynamic stability for the Gas Painting device. The works can be summarized as follows:The structure of three points supporting is proposed based on the traditional two points one in the high-speed air bearing devices, which increases greatly the bearing stiffness and dynamic stability.The relations between the static pressure stiffness and the diameter of the throttle hole and bearing clearance are studied. A method to optimize the design of the gas bearing in HSPAS is proposed based on the stiffness analysis, which can develop effectively system stiffness.The characteristics of static and dynamic equilibrium for gas-bearing painting turbine in the high-speed running are studied and the followings are researched deeply, including the stock option, fabrication process, installation and debugging, production test and so on. This method is proposed firstly, which is to sample with the fiber optic sensor and to do the rate feedback instantly, because the detection accuracy to the speed is low and distance is short for the theory of pressure difference adopted by gas-bearing painting turbine.The outcomes researched above will enrich greatly the theory of design and manufacture of the automatic electrostatic painting equipment in automobile industry, which will also establish a stable foundation for further investigations on dynamic structure design, maintenance, working status monitoring and fault diagnosis, so as to accelerate the progress of localization of this equipment.
