Along with the development of economy and progress in science and technology, building size and pace of large scale bridgeworks is growing quickly. Following are various kinds of engineering accidents. Deformation monitoring of bridge structure is becoming more and more important. From the angle of measurement technology and data processing methods of bridge deformation monitoring, vertical displacement monitoring, horizontal displacement monitoring and three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring of bridge structure is mainly researched and discussed. Primary research contents are as following.⑴IntroductionBackground and significance of deformation monitoring of large scale bridge structure is analyzed. Significance of bridge structure deformation monitoring is high-lighted using negative accidents. The value of bridge deformation in utility and science is summarized. Development history and present research situation is summed up. Double advanced bridge deformation monitoring techniques are mainly introduced, which are automatic total station and GPS. General regulations of bridge deformation monitoring is analyzed and summarized. Finally, the main research content and thesis organization is drawn out.⑵Research development of bridge structure displacement monitoringVertical displacement monitoring of bridge structure is comparatively deeply researched and discussed. Measurement content of bridge structure vertical displacement monitoring is summarized, according to different formats of bridge structures. Control measurement of bridge structure vertical displacement monitoring is analyzed and summarized. Several kinds of bridge structure vertical displacement monitoring methods are researched, which are geometric leveling, hydrostatic leveling, electromagnetic distance measurement triangular height measurement, and GPS fitting height measurement. These methods are analyzed and compared.Horizontal displacement monitoring of bridge structure is comparatively deeply researched and discussed. Measurement content of bridge structure horizontal displacement monitoring is summarized, according to different formats of bridge structures. Control measurement of bridge structure horizontal displacement monitoring is analyzed and summarized. Methods of main body inclination and horizontal displacement monitoring of bridge structure is researched and discussed. Applicable domain of each method is discussed.⑶Three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring of bridge structureThree-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring of bridge structure is comparatively deeply researched. Research development of three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring of bridge structure is summarized. Techniques of three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring of bridge structure are researched and discussed, mainly are three deformation monitoring system patterns, which are three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring techniques based on automatic total station, GPS, and online strain monitoring system based on optical fiber. Data processing methods of three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring of bridge structure are researched mainly is the application of wavelet analysis in data processing of three-dimensional dynamic deformation monitoring.⑷Engineering exampleThe practice of real-time dynamic three-dimensional deformation monitoring of bridge structure implemented, taking Nanpu Bridge as example. In the long-period observed data processing of another bridge, wavelet is used to do de-noising and deformation trend feature extraction, and good result is gotten. Test scheme, data processing and test result analysis are presented.Finally, the main research content of this paper is summarized. Potential research direction in the future is prospected simply.
