Besides general problems like base displacement and structure stabilization, the movement of water must be concerned. It is the difference between hydraulic constructions and common structures. So seepage analysis becomes one of the most important items in hydraulic design.Taking Long Huahe Station Project as an example, this thesis evaluates the project's seepage security during building and operation period and checks out the seepage control measures based on seepage analysis theory. It further offers reference and foundation to the project design. Though this project is a little small, there are as many problems as those big ones. Solving these matters is significant, not only for the project but also for other likely projects.This thesis mainly includes:The first one is the problem of the pit's seepage and stabilization during construction. Because there is a deep layer of weak soil on the dam foundation, the project has to dig up it. So the pit reaches up to 20 meters down. The cofferdam is also close to the pit. That means the pit's seepage stabilization and leakage during construction become very important. This thesis establishes a three-dimensional seepage model, calculates seepage field, free-surface and leakage under different control measures, and evaluates these seepage control measures.The second one is the sensitive analysis of the water-proof curtain and drainage system. To the gravity dam, base water-proof curtain and drainage system is highly concerned with stabilization and it is an important content of project design. This thesis checks out different schemes of base water-proof curtain and drainage system across-the-ground. Focusing on the sensitive analysis of the water-proof curtain both at the base and at dam shoulders, this part offers reference to the optimization of project design. Other items like the impact of concretion grouting on seepage field are also included. The third one is the analysis of the dam seepage field. Being a RCC gravity dam, the dam is a focus of seepage security. This thesis summarizes the seepage characteristics of Roller Compacted Concrete, and then, based on these characteristics, establishes a seepage model adapted to RCC dams. Finally the thesis checks out and evaluates the measures of dam water-proof and drainage.The production of this thesis has been used to the designing of Long Huahe Station. The evidence shows that it is good reference.
