With the development of modern industry, lots kinds of intelligent instruments, computers, and huge communication equipment have been invented. These electrical equipment with high capabilities request better quality electric power .In order to make them work safely and stably, a kind of AC-voltage regulator must be invented and that can meet the request of the power net. In this paper, the design of AC-voltage regulator power supply based on EPWM AC-chop control is introduced.First, this paper analyzed the structure and parameters of the main circuit also discussed the theory of AC voltage-adjusting control through using EPWM Bridge chopper .at same time give a logic circuit to confirm the polarity of compensating voltage .In the regulator control, system uses the voltage / current dual-loop digital PI control, in order to achieve the purpose of dynamic adjustment to achieve a stable output voltage. System start-up and the end of the process also used the principle of soft-start control system not only makes the process of start and end of a smooth and no impact, but also played a role in the protection of equipment.The top management chip that this system adopts is dsPIC30F6014.dsPIC30F6014 is one of high-performance industrial level Digital Signal Processor produced by Microchip Corporation. Both have 16-bit single-chip high-performance control functions, but also has DSP computing power and data throughput .it adopts high performance to revise RISC CPU, the speed of performance is up to 20 and 30MIPS .its internal function modules complete, functional development is very convenient.Regard Rhapsody based on UML language as the frame and put up and control the procedure entirely. Rhapsody provides a model-driven development Program .it can pass IDF to use in having limited goal system of operating system resource (Interrupt Driven Framework) run. There is IDF, the code that the model produces no longer needs participation of the embedded operating system. Software design adopts the hardware and wraps up the way separated from software package. It is designed for software of the hardware that the hardware is chartered, software package is the software design totally independent of hardware. Include the hardware to transfer function of the hardware and realize the control on part of the hardware of the one-chip computer through the software, drive and finish the communication between the software and hardware through news or the incident. The design that software and hardware separate help us upgrade the products, Only need to alter the content that the hardware charters when change the hardware, the content of software package needn't be changed. Control the software design of the voltage power including 4 pieces of function module. Key control module, LCD display module, Main control module and Data storage module. Regard Rhapsody based on UML language as frame, make procedure making module, easy to maintain , debug , update of product. Have optimized and tested the whole system.At last this paper introduces the detecting system's structure, the functions and standards of the detection and how to detect the AC-voltage regulator power system. At same time few groups testing data are showed which can prove that this system can fulfill the request of voltage regulator when the system voltage is changing. The quality of voltage has been improved.
