As we all know, power performance, fuel economy and emission properties depend largely on the engine performance, the choice of forms and parameters of powertrain, reasonable optimization and matching level of vehicle powertrain parameters. Therefore, optimization of the vehicle powertrain parameters is an important way to improve vehicle performance. With the development of dual clutch transmission, study on optimization method of powertrain parameters of the vehicle equipped with DCT will become the focus in industry. This paper focuses on dual clutch transmission, combining the latest research results at home and abroad, conducts research on simulation method of parameters optimization of automobile powertrain in-depth.In this paper,based on the national 863 dual clutch transmission project,analyze the evaluation indicators of the power performance and fuel economy,set up simulation models of complete vehicle, power performance and fuel economy by MATLAB/simulink software,and based on the orginal parameters of complete vehicle and DCT,analysis the complete vehicle performance.Then select reasonable optimization method to optimize DCT ratio.Through simulation relative analysis,verify the selected optimization method. The main work is as follows:1. Analyze the development direction, the research status, the latest results of dual clutch transmission and the evaluation indicators of vehicle power performance and fuel economy;2. Based on automotive theory ,set up the simulation model of complete vehicle, power performance and fuel economy of powertrain;3. Based on the original parameters of complete vehicle and DCT, applicating the simulation models,analyze power performance and fuel economy of the original vehicle.The results indicate that the power performance is good,but fuel economy needs to improve.Then compare with test data to verify the accuracy of simulation model based on simulation results;4. Discuss the DCT-based parameters optimization method of automobile powertrain, based on optimal design theory, use acceleration time and fuel economy of multi-driving cycles as the two sub-goals for measuring of power performance and fuel economy. Set up the vehicle powertrain optimization mathematical models by linear weighted combination method to convert them into a single objective function. DCT speed ratio is optimized based on optimization methods. On this basis, simulate the optimized parameters of power performance, fuel economy. By the comparative analysis of the pre-and post–simulation , the results show that, fuel consumption of NEDC is 5.98 percent lower than pre-optimization, while acceleration time is almost the same as pre-optimization.Through studying on simulation research for parameters optimization of automobile powertrain based on the dual clutch transmission, provide a theoretical basis, technical reference and research methods for the optimal matching research of the automatic transmission system.
