At present,with the increasing tonnage of ship and the improved automatic level of ship,more and more high-power motors and high-power semiconductor apparatus are applied on board,the demand to the synchronous alternator excitation system of ships is higher and higher.Excitation controller,as a main part of excitation system,is very important to the safe and steady operation of power systems.With the development of large-scale integrate circuit technology and computer technology,microcomputer-based excitation controller will become the main stream of excitation controllers in the future. Constant improvement in excitation control method set an even higher requirement for the computation of the microcomputer-based excitation controller.According to this requirement,the thesis studies the DSP-based excitation controller by using DSP(Digital Signal Processor) as the control unit.In this thesis,simulation block diagram of power excitation control system of ship is built by using simulation software Matlab7.1/Simulink,in the simulation process, simulation comparison of three-phase grounding short circuit fault of synchronous generator side and three-phase fault of the line is applied by using PID control,PID+PSS control and the adaptive parameters of fuzzy-PID control algorithm separately.The result of simulation proves that intelligent control algorithm that is adaptive parameters algorithm of fuzzy-PID compared to the traditional PID control and PID+PSS control algorithm,the former have good control performance.The load is changing when the synchronous alternator is normal.The effect to the synchronous alternator excitation magnetic field is different when the capacity and power factor is different.The internal impedance voltage drop is different.To sustain the voltage of generator stable,the excitation must be regulated all the times,according to the capacity of the quality of load.This regulating course must be realized through the auto regulate machine only.The control nuclear of this system is base on DSP controller,and digital excitation control system will be established.This thesis also introduce the design of hardware and software,including parameters-collect circuit(ADC),synchronization circuit, trigger circuit,power amplifier circuit and so on in detail.The thesis explained the method of control and the thought of software.In regard to the disturb in this system,the corresponding method was adopt to avoid it.
