The state estimation(SE) of the power system is an important component of the energy management system(EMS),the algorithm of SE is related to the speed and precision of calculating directly.GPS-based synchronous Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) has brought profound impact on the state estimation of electrical power system, since it can measure the angle of voltage directly. This paper compared several classic state estimation algorithms;introduced the principle of PMU;summed up the current kinds of model of SE considering PMU;based on the current situation that PMU can't be installed in all node of the power system, proposed a new model of SE considering the measurement of PMU,and combined the characteristics of the actual power system, proposed the fast decoupling algorithm; finally, the validity of this model and algorithm has been proved by the test result got from the application on the New England 39 nodes system with MATLAB.
