The electric energy is the most important Secondary energy of modern society. Because of the fast development of electrical power,the electrical energy metering, online monitoring becomes more and more important.It is needed urgently to invent a integrated electric power monitoring device.The integrated electric power monitoring instrumentation which described on this paper is a multi-functional electricity meters, it can Real-time monitoring the operational status of power grid,statistically analyze part of power system operation indicators,it will help power measure sectors to manage the power network,make up for the leakage of electricity which is caused by man or not,and handle the fault in a timely manner so as to make maximum protect of the power supply's authenticity,reliability and scientificity.It has important significance to strengthen the management and improve the power measurement level and is considered an ideal instrument of monitoring in the power measurement.The integrated electric power monitoring instrumentation used the ATMEL Company's high-performance low-power RISC(Reduced Instruction Set CPU) ATmega128 microcontroller as a core chip,and integrated the functions of measurement,monitoring,Parameter setting,statistics,supplemental compensate and communication.Actions Semiconductor Co.,Ltd.'s special electrical energy measurement chip ATT7022B is adopted to collect and process the power network parameters.Using the specialized energy measurement chip can not only simplify the difficulty of measuring circuit design,shorten the product development cycle,reduce the complexity of programming,improve the measurement accuracy and the stability of the system,but also reduce the development costs.In addition,the use of the two communication mode-RS232 and wireless made it convenient to communicate with the PC by local or remote,and it can sent the fault information and accumulated information in a timely manner to the monitoring terminals,which is beneficial for real-time monitoring of the operation information on the power network so as to protect the safety of the power network's operation. The overall design program,the detailed schematic diagram of the hardware and software design flow chart are given in the paper according to the power network monitor's technical requirements and features.The article divides the hardware part into four parts:the front-end data acquisition,the microprocessor systems,the input-output systems,Data storage system and the communication interface.The software part uses the modular design method.For the part which occupies a longer system running time but not the task of high piecemeal approach taken to split the task into successive multi-stage completion,thereby reducing the delay time,and proposes a software design that is similar to the Round Robin-time approach in the operating system,which improves the operation of the system and the response speed, and ensure the system running fastly and smoothly.Finally,its measurement accuracy is verified by the three-phase sophisticated test power,the experimental results show that the monitor has a high accuracy,good linearity and large dynamic range,accurate statistics,real-time,and work stability, which is able to meet the requirements of the power measurement,as well as reach the real-time monitoring requirements of power equipment.
