Active magnetic bearing (AMB) is one of the typical mechatronic products and a new type of high performance bearing which suspends the rotor in a contact-free manner. Since it has many advantages, such as no mechanical contact, no friction, lower energy consumption, lasting service life and without environmental pollution, it has been paid more and more attention in energy resource, aerospace, communication, mechanical industry, robot and medical equipment. AMB is an integrated system including magnetic, electronics, magnetic, computers. Considering the above factor, the author works on the analysis and research of each section of AMB, including:Firstly, this essay will make analysis of the system frame and working theory of magnitude bearing , it also adopt a new model of magnetic bearing system frame, which means mixture bearing structure of front-side magnetic bearing and back- side mechanical bearing. The paper also inferential reasoned the single degree of freedom transfer function model which has the universal significance of the magnetic bearing, on the above basis, the mathematic model of magnetic bearing which diverging to double degrees rotor is set up. And analysis the performance indicators of stiffness and damping of the system.Then the component and design of the key parts of the magnetic bearing's system will be analyzed and each section's design and feet connection of each module will be introduced with the core digital-signal processor,among all the design of modules, the power amplifier module will be the key part. The magnitude bearing hard wear controlling system will be designed on the base of above process. The controlling project will select PID controlling method, which is a relatively sound method in terms of project application. The software of Matlab 7.0.1 will also be applied to design and research on control parameters and the software of DXP 2004 SP2 will play a function of design in system theoretical map and developing the controlling board of PCB.At last, this essay design the flow chart for each module of controller, and the software CCS2.1 is applied to adjust the controlling process. To further robust and stabilize the magnetic bearing's system, improve the controlling quality of the system, the fuzzy algorithm will be added with base of traditional PID and through this essay the result of the experiment of this essay that the fuzzy PID controller has better acted quality and robust is exposed.
