In consideration of the serious energy-using situation and increasing number of solid waste,environmental protection and sustainable development has become a hot issue today.At the same time,the rapid growth in building energy consumption makes building energy conservation increasingly important.Building envelope wall is an important component of the external residential buildings' wall construction.Its heat consumption accounts for about 35%~45%of the total heat loss.Combined with energy-saving features and resources of Chinese current status,the building envelope wall provides a very good opportunities and tremendous space for the development of thermal insulation materials.Aerated concrete as a light wall material has attracted our attention again.With advantages of high-strength,heat insulation, light weight and strong machinability,it makes the construction process more efficient,energy saving,and environmental protection.In this paper,we studied the production process parameters by which B05 aerated concrete was produced from siliceous solid waste(stone,mine tailings).By the study of the fineness of siliceous raw materials,water ratio,the main component content as well as autoclaving conservation system,we analyzed their filling properties of concrete products,and ultimately determined the optimal mix. (cement:siliceous materials:mixed ash:water) The rate of stone chips-aerated concrete is 75:320:105:320;gold tailings-aerated concrete is 90:275:135:300 and lead-zinc tailings-aerated concrete is 110:265:125:275.Meanwhile,we made micro-test analysis for the finished product.Combining with the test results,we discussed the hydration process and strength of the formation mechanism.Study shows that:the use of siliceous solid waste(stone,tailings) can be prepared for the B05-class performance and stability of aerated concrete in the laboratory,and it reached the national standard requirements and formed a homogeneous and densified microstructure of aerated concrete.Like other common sand aerated concrete,the main hydration products are CSH(B),Tobermorite and a small amount of granular Hydrogarnet. Finally,we made analysis for aerated concrete products of the thermal performance indicators.We concluded that the thermophysical property of aerated concrete product is the important basis for the calculation of external walls of thermal energy.Thermal conductivity at the core of the thermal properties should be used as an important indicator of product quality as the intensity of aerated concrete.By comparing a variety of wall insulation system with the thermal performance and the cost-effectiveness analysis of aerated concrete wall,we believe that the aerated concrete wall insulation materials are energy-saving,earth-saving and environmental-protecting as developmentally-sustainable building materials.If we promote it,it will bring us significant and far-reaching economic and social benefits.
