At present,the development of conventional vehicles have been severely restricted by the energy,the environment as well as economy issues.As the rapid development of national economy and and continuous improvement of people's living standards,the vehicle population of China is also increasing,which brings tremendous pressure to our resource and environment.As an important chemical raw material——petroleum,more than half of it has been used as the vehicles'fuel,so developing the energy-saving vehicles and using the alternative energy is the main way to ease the energy pressure at the present time.The economy of conventional vehicles currently is very poor,mainly due to the environmental impact of urban terrain.However,hybrid electric vehicles can solve the above problem,and they are more adapted to the special requirements of working conditions compare with the conventional internal combustion engine vehicle.HEV electric system may limit the working area of the engine to reduce fuel consumption and reduce emissions.Under certain conditions of structure and parameters,we could draft certain strategy to control energy distribution between the engine and motor,which could make the engine work in the region of low fuel consumption and low emissions,which could achieve fuel consumption and emissions standard.In this paper,hybrid electric bus SLG612OCWE as main research subject,we work out a practical scheme—Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle(PHEV),and research its configuration,components matching of powertrain system and make relevant control strategy.First of all,we compare with the various structural forms of PHEV and select a suitable one.According to design requirements,we work out a practical scheme of PHEV powertrain system,and analyse the energy flow and the performance of the main components of the powertrain(engine,motor,power battery and charger,etc.). Then using the selected powertrain components,we design the layout program on the SLG6120CWE chassis,which in order to resolve components layout of the Low-floor bus currently.Then we make relevant control strategy of PHEV according to characteristic of the urban duty cycle and analyse the PHEV control strategy with batteries SOC(State Of Charge).
