Urban Underground Street Landscape Design And Research

Since the 21st century, more and more maladies existing in underground space environment arouse the attention to people. Such physical characteristics as insufficient natural light, lacking of fresh air, much humidity are unfavorable to people's physiological health; meanwhile, these factors cause people' psychology too. Some underground space is low and narrow, the overall arrangement is single and barren, and the position sense is extremely bad. So, the improvement of underground space will effect people's psychology and offer the comfortable environment experience. Creating humanized underground space has been a question that designers are concerned about.This paper makes a series of investigation and research on underground situation of some cities domestic and aboard. Though the comparison, several problems in our city underground space design are proposed. Among them, three are the severest, which are lacking humanizing design, identifiable design and design, waiting to be solved urgently by systematic working out the corresponding solution. This paper tried to introduce relevant theories about view design science and behavior psychological, bind with view environment design of underground street, propose the underground design of street should meet economy, aesthetics and culture goal, have proposed three kinds of structural types of the environmental program of the view of underground street on the macroscopic, carried on detailed analysis on the consisting element of the view environment of underground street of the city, the author believe the focal point of improving the view environment of underground street is designs on purpose to respects such as entrances and exits, interface, view essay, identification of picture and text, etc..According to the preliminary conclusion of research described above, this paper has put forward the humanized design tactics, introducing the psychological theory of the behavior, design humanization to resolve into three levels, i.e. Meeting people's demands design, meeting behavioral psychological need design and satisfying people's emotion and pursue design. Introducing five key elements in the discerning design underground on the street environmental purpose of the cityscape and design, have proposed the design tactics to five key elements of route, node, sign, area and border of view environment of underground street.
