The Design And Implement Of Military Underground Pipe Network Based On GIS

This paper introduces the method of constructing an information system for military underground pipe network based on image and graphics technique,Spatial Database Technology and GIS Technology and describes how to use this system for effective management of military underground pipe network.The papper is divided into the following sections.1.On the basis of the GIS Techology,the paper analyses the feasibility of the information system for military underground pipe network.It makes a detailed analysis from technique,economic and social,then an argumentation is given to the feasibility of the system.2.On the basis of the GIS Technology,it also analyses the data model of the system.It needs a lot of space data and makes an effective organization to the data in order to read and write fast.This chapter studies the Geospatial-level organizations and Geospatial data model carefully,then analyses the database organizations of the point-like entity,linear entity,area entities and body-like entity.An effective organization of space data is presented.3.It introduces the information system of general structure design.It makes an over all design of the information system mainly from the system target,system function,system performance,data protection.The system target should follow principles of advancement,consistency,security and stability,completeness and economy.It also makes a design of function structure on the premise of following the design goal,and constructs the function structure diagram and logic structure diagram..In order to ensure the data security,it makes a design of data protection mainly on security management,integrity maintenance and concurrency control. 4.At the end of the thesis,it was described the implementation of the information system for military underground pipe network from initialization module,information management module,user management module,printing report module and data Input/Output module.The main purpose of initialization module is to initialize the original data,then converted them into effective space data.It depends mainly on VB to call the data control of Super Map 2000 to innitialize the data.As the center of this system,the information management module is responsible for the management of graphic information and attribute information to underground pipelines and all kinds of equipment.User management module is to complete the authorization settings which could set up a kind of system for different ranks of users with different privileges,can not see the same information.In printing report module,we can finish statistics,aggregation and printing to all kinds of report forms,and make the data much more accuracy and completeness.The data Input/Output module is responsible for the transformation of the non-system data and system data.It could introduce other types of data(Eg.Arc GIS,MapInfo,Excel) into this system,then simplified data input.
