Underground pipeline is to ensure the normal operation of the city infrastructure.Along with the urban function adjustment and the rapid development of city construction,the underground pipeline increasingly complex, its pipeline difficulty also has keptincreasing. As pipes information mismanagement, leading to the road reconstructionprojects and pipelines in municipal engineering of all kinds cop safety accident frequency,will bring security and stability to the society safe hidden trouble. In this form, how tourban pipeline especially underground pipeline for accurate, efficient management will bevery important.Underground pipes information system it is to a computer network for the carrier,GIS software as a platform of the applied technological system. It is based on digital mapspatial data, to the pipeline space information data and attribute data as the core resources,through the GIS database management, inquiry, statistics and analysis, and other functions,for urban planning, construction, management and decision provides services.Underground pipes information system construction aiming at improving the urbanunderground pipes information whole management level, the play underground pipelinedata in urban planning, construction, management and disaster prevention and mitigationof the function, for government departments in urban planning, construction andmanagement provide the information support and decision support, and to realize thecentralized management of the underground pipeline data and applications, advance cityinformatization and the construction of digital city.First, this paper introduced the first stage of the city underground pipelinemanagement present situation and the existing problems, second in Qingdao city ofunderground pipeline data and management present situation investigation, undergroundpipes information system needs analysis, including the system of feasibility analysis and functional requirements analysis; And then in Qingdao city pipes information system forthe overall design and function module design, and set up a space and the spatial dataintegration of the storage of underground pipeline information database, using C/S and B/Sstructure of the mix, and the integration of the ArcGIS AutoCAD platform model, and setup a relatively perfect Qingdao underground pipes information system.
