The steel reinforced concrete-steel(SRC-S) vertical hybrid structure is widely used in high-rise building because of its good applicability. The SRC-S vertical hybrid structure is an irregular structure in vertical and is easy to form a weak-layer.In this paper the influence of different transition storey of the SRC-S vertical hybrid structure on the overall seismic performance is mainly studied. This paper firstly introduces the SRC-S vertical hybrid structure and expatiates on the basic theory of Push-over procedure.Based on the current relevant data, the steel reinforced concrete PMM plastic hinge is defined.Using two methods of dealing with the SRC PMM plastic hinge, which is transforming to steel member by equivalent stiffness to use default plastic hinge and using SRC PMM plastic hinge defined directly, a group of 8-storey SRC-S vertical hybrid frame structures with different transition storey are analyzed by SAP2000 program, and the influence of different transition storey of the SRC-S vertical hybrid structure on the overall seismic performance is obtained.By analyzing the calculating result and the failure mechanism of the structure models, the relative reasonable transition storey of the structure is put forward to provide reference for seismic design.
