The Analysis Of Factor Of Urban Design For Mountainous Region City

With the large—scale development of the western China,People have pained great attention to the constructions of mountainous region cities in recent years,which needs us to explore a series of ways for urban planning and urban design based on those cities'own characteristics so that we could lead their constructions to a benign一cycle and sustainable road.The emphases of the urban design is researching the urban special morphology and landscape,but we must think of society,economy,ecology,civilization,technology synthetically,and the aggrandizement of the ecology conception is paid more and more attention.This dissertation has surveyed the history and the ideas of modern urban planning. By referent those excellent urban planning projects and paradigms, the author defines the research framework, which thoroughly analyze the key factor and the methodologies of urban planning. Based on the study of all aspects of different angles and different status in urban design, this paper aims to create new idea and new methodology to ensure the new image of modern cities. As an example, this paper has applied the urban planning concepts to the urban design of the project of Tuojiang city and the project of Lidu new town, which exemplify the urban planning projects in the mountainous region. The outline of this dissertation is as follows:CAPTER 1: In this chapter, the author has introduced the research background of this thesis. Then it presents the aims and the importance of this research.CAPTER 2: In this chapter, discuss the basic theory of mountainous region city and urban design. Proposed the purpose and characteristics of urban design, Classification on the mountainous region city, pointed out the characteristics of mountainous region city.CAPTER 3: In this chapter, the author has thoroughly analyzed the five key factors for and urban design of mountainous region city, which include: the layout of urban space , transportation system, landscape design, architectural design and the mountain city skyline design,etc.CAPTER 4: In this chapter, re-understanding of urban design which adapted to mountainous region city terrain, based on the theory of chapter 3,brought forward method and the idea of urban design which adapted to mountainous region city terrain.CAPTER 5: This chapter has taken the Tuojiang city project and the Lidu new town project as examples, to exemplify how to apply these new thoughts and new methods for the urban design of mountainous region city.
