Remanufacturing production for waste and obsolete mechanic and electronic products, which is an important parts of Recycle Economics and Green maintenance. Disassembly, which is the first step and the entrance to remanufacture, will influence remanufacturing variously. Therefore, the quality of disassembly process is direct impact on the degree of products remanufacture.The paper studies on the gearbox as remanufacturability study case, based on the analysis about the characteristics of information on the remanufacturing products, analyze the disassembly process of gearbox and detection pattern of its key components, and classify and manage the disassembly information of remanufacture products in accordance with the process of remanufacture. Moreover, the paper analyzes the remanufacturing disassembly studying the input shaft as study case, obtained the optimum design model for the disassembly characteristics of remanufacture. Finally, analyzes the fatigue life of gearbox output shaft: based on simplified Pro/E model, the finite element model is established in Hypermesh and meshing in hexahedron grid, and finally static analyses and fatigue life analyses in ANSYS.The topic of the dissertation, combining with the strategic subject for Recycle Economics and Green Remanufacturing engineering brought by "the 11th-five-year plan", perfects theoretically the development of the remanufacturing engineering technology and is feasible thoughts and tool for the remanufacturing corporation's disassembly program designing and optimizing.
